SelfWealth has been named as a finalist for TWO categories: the Investment Platform Innovator category as well as the Investment Innovator category at the Fintech Business Awards — shortlisted for the third year running.
The Fintech Business Awards, one of the leading awards programs in the Australian financial technology sector, celebrates the leading individuals and organisations who demonstrate outstanding innovation and entrepreneurship.
SelfWealth Ltd is an Australian owned and operated company which offers a brand new solution to an age-old investment problem – how to empower investors to make informed decisions without paying exorbitant brokerage fees. For the first time in Australia, investors can now access an online tool which compares their portfolio’s performance against other investors.
Covering 18 categories, the prestigious event will bring together Australian entrepreneurs, start-ups and established tech firms from across the fintech spectrum as well as private equity and angel investors to large financial institutions and professional services firms.
“The Australian financial sector continues to grow and is one of the fastest growing sectors in the country which is fuelled by the innovative efforts of the country’s rapidly growing community of fintech entrepreneurs,” said Fintech Business editor, James Mitchell.
“These awards shine a light on those entrepreneurs, allowing them to be recognised for their hard work.”
“Congratulations to all of you who have secured a finalist position.”
Winners of each category will automatically be shortlisted for the coveted Fintech Business Excellence Award.
Andrew Ward, founder and CEO, is excited to add yet another award to the SelfWealth awards cabinet, after recently winning Money Magazine’s Cheapest Online Broker award for the second year in a row, “To be recognised by the industry and our peers is a great compliment, and motivates the SelfWealth team to continue to work hard towards our goal of unlocking better returns for Australian investors, while also making share trading more affordable.”
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on 28 March.
