Selfwealth Trading and Support Hours Over the 2021 Holiday Period

The cut-off time for receiving bank withdrawal requests on Friday, 24 December and Friday, 31 December will remain at 2pm Sydney-time as per usual. Requests made after this cut-off time will be processed the next business day (i.e. where there is no public holiday). Account deposits will be processed as per usual on these dates, including instant deposits.
No bank withdrawal requests will be processed on Monday, 27 December 2021, Tuesday, 28 December 2021, and Monday, 3 January 2022.
ASX market trading hours
Friday 24th December, 2021 – 10:00 am to 2:10 pm* (Sydney time)
Monday 27th December, 2021 – Market closed (Christmas – substitute day)
Tuesday 28th December, 2021 – Market closed (Boxing Day – substitute day)
Wednesday 29th December, 2021 – Normal day of trading
Thursday 30th December, 2021 – Normal day of trading
Friday 31st December, 2021 – 10:00 am to 2:10 pm* (Sydney time)
Monday 3rd January, 2022 – Market closed (New Year’s Day – substitute day)
Tuesday 4th January, 2022 – Market resumes normal trading
* maintenance activity will be completed by 2:40 pm on these days
US market trading hours
As Christmas falls on a Saturday this year, the US stock market will instead be closed on Friday, 24th December, 2021.
Unlike years gone past, there will be not be a holiday observed for New Year’s Day this holiday season, nor will the stock market observe limited trading hours. The market will be open per regular trading hours on both Friday, 31st December, 2021, and Monday 3rd January, 2022.

Support for US trading will follow US public holidays, as outlined above, including during US trading hours that may fall over the substitute public holidays for Christmas, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day in Australia.
Settlement times
SelfWealth members should also be aware of the effect these changes may have on ASX trading settlement dates over the Christmas and New Year holiday season. Please refer to the below calendars, which show the relevant T+2 settlement dates.
As an example, if an ASX trade is executed on Friday, 24th December, settlement will take place on Thursday, 30th December.
